DENTON, Texas – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team closes out the 2009 portion of its schedule on Tuesday when it faces Sun Belt Conference member North Texas at the Super Pit.

Southeastern (7-3) looks to bounce back after a disappointing 71-65 loss to Texas Southern on Saturday in the Robert Hughes Classic in Fort Worth. The Lions shot a season-low 36.7 percent (18-for-49) from the floor and committed a season-high 18 turnovers in dropping their second game in their last three contests.
Patrick Sullivan, who recorded his third double-double of the season and 16th of his career with 10 points and 12 rebounds, leads Southeastern with 15.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-9 senior tied a career-high with six blocked shots against TSU, increasing his school-record total to 204.

Brandon Fortenberry are averaging 11.7 and 10.5 points each for Southeastern with
Damon Forest (9.1),
Gary Dixon (9.0) and
Robert Tibbs (7.1) following. As a team, Southeastern is averaging 79.3 points while allowing 63.9.
North Texas (6-4) rallied back from a 16-point deficit before former Christian Life Academy product Josh White sent the game into overtime with a 3-pointer, but Florida International escaped with an 80-70 win on Sunday. The loss was UNT's first at home in 2009-10, breaking a streak of five straight victories at home.
White leads the Mean Green in scoring at 16.3 points per game followed by Shreveport native Eric Tramiel at 11.6. Tristan Thompson and George Odufuwa, who leads UNT with 10.2 rebounds per game, average 10.0 points each.
