Hidalgo was SLU's most prolific (3.73 kps) and efficient (.347 attack percentage) performer in a 3-0 week at the season-opening Katrinka Crawford Invitational .. The reigning SLC, Louisiana and AVCA South Region Freshman of the Year led Southeastern in kills in all three matches ... Hidalgo posted double-doubles in four-set wins over Tulane (16 kills, 14 digs) and Idaho State (17 kills, 11 digs), while posting a team-high .412 attack percentage in a sweep of Prairie View.
