Kristian Jackson advanced to the NCAA Division I National Track and Field Championships in the discus for Southeastern Louisiana University last Saturday during the final day of the 2022 NCAA East Regional Qualifiers. Jackson, out of Zachary, Louisiana, broke her own school record of 170-9 (52.04m) as she hurled one 176-8 (53.86m) Saturday on her second attempt to secure her spot in the national championships. The senior finished seventh in the event Saturday as the top 12 all secured spots in the finals.
