Kristian Jackson earned Southland Women’s Outstanding Field Events Performer after her showing at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships. Jackson, out of Zachary, Louisiana, won the Southland Indoor shot put title and finished runner up in the weight throw. The Lady Lion senior also set a new personal best in the weight throw of 59-9.75 (18.23m) on her way to securing a first and second team slot on the All-Southland team.
