In the first dual matches of her Southeastern career, Mercier helped the Lions to a pair of victories over Alcorn State. Mercier defeated Ekaterina Potapova and Aakansksha Punj at No. 4 singles, while teaming with fellow sophomore Lucia Bustamante for a pair of victories on the No. 2 doubles court.
