Benson II led the Lions at this weekend's Drake Relays. On Friday, he won the 400 meters at the event with a time of 46.31. On Saturday, he was part of a 4x400 relay team, along with D.J. Ruffin, Donovan Storr and Jonathan Sawyer that finished second with a school record time of 3:04.98 - the fourth-fastest time in the NCAA East Region this season.
