Davis, playing competitive basketball for the first time since high school after playing four seasons of volleyball at Texas A&M, came off the bench to average a team-high 14.0 points per game in SLU’s Southland road wins over New Orleans and Nicholls that helped the Lady Lions to their first-ever 3-0 start to Southland Conference play. The Orlando, Florida native was part of a dominant Southeastern inside game, as SLU outscored its two foes this week, 100-30, in points in the paint.
