Sterling was Southeastern’s leading scorer in each of its two Southland Conference road victories this week. She scored a game-high 18 points to lead four Lady Lions in double figures in SLU’s 74-67 win at McNeese - the Lady Lions’ first win over the Cowgirls since 2013-14. Sterling added a team-high 17 points and did not commit a turnover while playing the entire 40 minutes in a 72-56 victory at Northwestern State.
