The freshman, who averaged 72.11 per round in three events during the month, helped Southeastern claim the UALR/First Tee Collegiate Classic with a two-day total of 215 and earning a second fifth-place finish. Named the Southland Conference Men's Golfer of the Month for the second straight month, Westermann, from Pinneberg, Germany, posted three top-five finishes in three events in March and helping No. 39-ranked Southeastern to a pair of team titles. Westermann, who is the top freshman nationally and ranked No. 7 in the latest GolfStat Cup Standings, has placed in the top-five in all five events he has played during the spring.
