Virgil threw for a career-high 474 yards – the third-highest single-game total in program history – on 36-for-49 passing in a 45-44 victory over Villanova in a first round NCAA FCS playoff contest. He threw for three touchdowns, including the game-winner to CJ Turner, as SLU rallied from a 17-point halftime deficit.
