Insani helped SLU to its first two victories of the spring last week. She won on the No. 1 singles and doubles courts (with Ximena Yanez) in Friday’s 6-1 win over LSU Alexandria, then earned a straight-set singles victory in Sunday’s 4-0 shutout of Alcorn State. She is 2-0 in singles play in her first season with the Lions.
