Mitchell, who was named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week and was an honorable mention choice for STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week, led SLU with four catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-30 victory over Incarnate Word. Mitchell is the first Lion to catch three touchdowns in a game since Simmie Yarbrough accomplished the feat in a 49-28 win over Texas State on Oct. 9, 2010.
