Capps helped lead the Lions to a season-opening 85-39 win over Millsaps Friday with game-highs of 26 points and 15 rebounds. He recorded his eighth career double-double and third straight dating back to the 2015-16 season. Capps had 13 of his points and 10 rebounds as the Lions grabbed a 45-21 halftime lead. He also had two assists and a steal and helped the Lions allow their fewest points since the 2004-05 season and the fifth-fewest points in team history.
