In his second career start, Alo led the Lions to their first win of the season – a 34-24 victory over Northwestern State on Saturday. The SLU senior quarterback threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns. He was also effective on the ground, rushing for 91 yards on 10 carries. The Carson, California native engineered a Lion offense that racked up a season-high 539 yards of total offense.
