Villarreal was 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles with sophomore Dalina Dahlmans on the No. 1 court to help the Lions defeat Sam Houston State and Lamar to open Southland Conference play … The senior now has a 59-8 career singles record, moving her into eighth on the school’s all-time wins list … In doubles play, she and Dahlmans are now 5-1 this spring after this week’s doubles victories.
