Nichols helped SLU win a share of the Lion Classic II championship this week. In Saturday’s 14-1 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, she tied a single-game school record with two triples, finishing 3-for-3 with three RBI. She helped SLU to a 12-6 win over Southern Miss on Sunday, as her third triple of the week was one of a single-game school record three triples for the Lady Lions in the victory. In her first season in Hammond, she has hit safely in the first seven games of her career.
