A first team All-Southland selection on Monday for the third straight season, Lacour capped her Southeastern career with another tremendous season at the top of the Lady Lion lineup. The Port St. Joe, Florida native led the Southland with a .423 batting average, 74 hits and a 58 stolen bases. Lacour’s stolen base total, which had her ranked atop Division I in total steals and steals per game, set a new single-season school record and she also set a new SLU season standard with 49 runs scored, while also leading the team with five triples.
Her 2016 campaign solidified her as the greatest leadoff hitter in the history of the program. She finished her career with a Southland Conference career record batting average of .425. The four-year starter also set Southeastern career records with 277 hits, 148 runs scored and 70 stolen bases.

Lacour is the first player in school history to be named first team all-conference three times. A second team All-Southland choices as a freshman, she joins Southeastern Athletics Hall of Famer Sarah Gascon (2001-04) as the only four-time All-Southland Conference performer in school history.
