Hernandez helped SLU start Southland Conference play with a 2-1 record. On Thursday, she scored a career-high 25 points – the most by a Lady Lion this season – in a 78-76 victory over Sam Houston State. She dished out a team-high five assists in a 67-59 victory over Houston Baptist on Saturday.
