Gibson became the 18th student-athlete in program history with 1,000 career points with a 15-point effort in Thursday’s 82-65 win over McNeese State. On Saturday, she posted her second double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Nicholls State. Her rebounding total gives her 565 boards for her career, moving her into 10th place on the school’s career list.
