Gibson was named Southland Conference Player of the Week after she scored a season-high 19 points to lead Southeastern to its third straight victory on Tuesday versus UNO. Gibson had six rebounds, helping Southeastern to a dominant 46-26 rebounding advantage over its future Southland rivals. The Somerville, Tenn. native leads the team with 11.3 points per game in 2012-13.
