Stefan Lopez tied and set the Southland Conference career saves record this week while also tying the conference single-season record. Lopez recorded the final out at South Alabama for his 27th career save, tying the record. He set the career (28) and tied the single-season (18) record by working a scoreless inning in the series opener against Stephen F. Austin. The junior from New Iberia, La., picked up his first win of the season with a pair of innings in the series finale.
