Gomez was Southeastern’s top power threat this week, hitting five home runs and driving in nine runs. In Friday’s 12-2 win at the Buzz Classic, Gomez tied a single-game school record with three home runs, going 4-for-4 with five RBI. The next day, she had two runs versus Elon. For the season, the Alvin, Texas native leads the Lady Lions with eight home runs and 19 RBI.
