Buckley was named Southland Conference Player of the Week after helping Southeastern maintain second place in the SLC standings with a 2-0 week. He opened the week with a 19-point, nine-rebound effort in a 81-79 SLU win over his former team, Lamar. Buckley followed with a season-high 27 points in a 71-66 victory at UIW. For the week, Buckley averaged 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists to pace the Lions.
