Horne, returning from missing all of 2023-24 with injury, has already showcased her effectiveness for SLU in the first two games of 2024-25. Horne helped Southeastern to stay within a close 10-point battle against No. 23 Nebraska, claiming 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists. The Baton Rouge, La. native played 38 minutes, shot 53.3 percent from the field, and 3-6 from the three-point line in clutch moments to keep the Huskers on edge. Horne scored 14 points with three assists and three steals in the Lady Lions' season opener victory against Millsaps.
