McCord played a large part in two big Southeastern victories this week. Her goal in the eighth minute set the tone in SLU's 2-1 victory over two-time reigning Southland Conference champion Lamar Friday. Sunday saw her assist Halli Roe's game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Northwestern State, which came to Hammond undefeated in SLC play. The two wins vaulted Southeastern to the top of the league standings and McCord tops the Lady Lions with four goals this season.
