Capps helped the Lions match their best-ever start in Southland play through seven games with victories over HBU and Northwestern State. Against the Huskies, he poured in a career-high 31 points while adding six rebounds, an assist and a block.He tied career highs with 12 field goals and six free throws made and become the first Lion in three years to score 30 points. He added 17 points against Northwestern State, going 7-of-14 from the field while recording two rebounds and two blocks.
