Martin rushed for 149 yards on 28 carries to lead the Lions to a 28-24 victory over Eastern Washington. His single-game rushing yardage total was the highest by a Southeastern runner since 2017. On the game's final drive, he rushed nine times for 54 yards and five first downs, as SLU clinched its first win of 2024 by milking the final 5:22 off the clock.
