Stuprich was named SLC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this month after he and teammate Jackson Rodriguez combined for a three-hit shutout in SLU’s 5-0 victory at Northwestern State in Friday’s conference opener. Stuprich tossed seven scoreless innings, scattering two hits and striking out five before giving way to Rodriguez for the final two frames.
