The reigning Southland Conference Player and Hitter of the Year picked up right where she left off a season ago, helping the Lady Lions to a 5-0 week at the Mardi Gras Mambo. The Corpus Christi, Texas native hit .533 while leading the Lady Lions with two home runs, nine RBI, two triples, two doubles and a 1.333 slugging percentage.
