In the final tuneup before the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, Olsen set a new indoor school record in the high jump at the LSU Twilight meet. Olsen cleared 1.75 meters (5 feet, 8.75 inches) besting the previous mark of 1.74 meters set by Janice Ezegbunam at the 2005 SLC championship meet. Olsen's standard was the highest by a Southland athlete this season.
