Tom Dawsey was named the Assistant AD for Marketing and Development in March 2015. Dawsey oversees the Southeastern Student-Athlete Marketing and Promotions office and is the department's liaison to the Lion Athletics Association (LAA).
Dawsey has been a member of the Southeastern community since his days as a Lion baseball player from 1986-87. Prior to accepting his current position, Dawsey spent a year working in the compliance office as compliance coordinator.
Prior to his time in Athletics, Dawsey also worked as marketing and recruiting manager in extended studies and was also the associate director of Alumni Relations. Dawsey also had a previous stint as Southeastern Athletics Director of Development and the Executive Director of the LAA.
Dawsey earned his degree in marketing from Southeastern in 1996. He and his wife, Carla, have two children, Courtney and Ryan, and reside in Hammond. Courtney is a current member of the Southeastern women's basketball team.
