Damion Jeanpiere is entering his seventh season with the Southeastern track and field program, having served as the assistant long sprints coach since 2018.
During his tenure, Jeanpiere has a reputation of building record breaking, national, and world class athletes and helping bolster the teams he coaches.

Jeanpiere is certified by the USTFCCCA in Strength & Conditioning. He has also completed coursework in Weight Training for Track & Field. In 2023, Jeanpiere earned a Level 1 Coach Certificate from USA Weightlifting.
Jeanpiere is a native of St. Rose, La. who has 13 years of experience coaching elite athletes in track and field from the USATF Jr, AAU, collegiate, and professional sports athletes in NCAA Track and Field, World Athletics, Olyimpics, NFL, and Canadian Football Leagues.
Through jis experiences Jeanpiere breeds excellence in all he coaches, but most of all is known as a life coach to his athletes that drives purpose, vision and the elite mindset that produces undeniable testimonies from many he coaches.
Jeanpiere is a dedicated family man with his loving wife Desiree and children (Damion, Christina, Destinee, Daeja). He attended Destrehan High School and Louisiana State University while competing in football during his years as an athlete.
