Kemmler Chapple enters his 15th year at Southeastern, and his fifth as Sports Information Director.
Chapple, a Hammond native, serves as the primary contact for football, women’s basketball, softball and women’s tennis, while also overseeing the publicity efforts for all 15 of Southeastern's Division I programs.
Prior to his full-time appointment as assistant sports information director in 2003, Chapple served for one year as a graduate assistant in the office and another as a student assistant.
A 2002 graduate of Southeastern, Chapple earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication and his master’s degree in organizational communication in 2006.
Chapple, a member of CoSIDA and the Louisiana Sports Writers Association, resides in Hammond.
