2021: All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana selection developed into the ace of the SLU pitching staff, making 35 appearances with 24 starts in the circle … Posted a 16-7 record and 2.27 earned run average, accumulating 11 complete games and four shutouts … Fanned 148 in 160.1 innings … Held opponents to a .230 batting average … Ranked among the league leaders in ERA (7^th), opposing batting average (8^th), innings pitched (2^nd), strikeouts (2^nd) and wins (3^rd) … Opened the season with a no-hitter in an 11-0 win over South Dakota State on the way to being named Southland Pitcher of the Week … Combined with teammate Ellie DuBois to throw another no-hitter in an 11-1 win over Florida A&M on the way to earning league pitcher of the week honors for a second time … Struck out eight in a one-hit 5-0 shutout win over Abilene Christian … Also had shutout wins over Nicholls, Sam Houston and Florida Gulf Coast … Tied season-high with eight strikeouts in 7-4 victory over Nicholls … Earned a place on the Southland Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2020: Pitched in 11 games, making six starts … Finished with a 2-2 record and a 3.55 earned run average … Struck out 22 in 23.2 innings of work … Fanned eight and allowed three hits in 4.2-inning relief effort versus Appalachian State …. Threw three shutout innings and scattered three hits to earn a win in a 12-4 win over Alabama State … Didn’t allow an earned run in 4.1 innings of work in a 3-1 victory over ULM ... Member of the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Prior to Southeastern: Multi-time All-Region pitcher at LSU Eunice, helping Lady Bengals to 2019 national championship … Finished 20-2 with a 2.77 earned run average as a sophomore … Recorded a 29-9 mark with a 1.76 ERA and 177 strikeouts as a freshman.

High School: Multi-time all-state and all-district selection at Central High School … Named Baton Rouge Metro Most Valuable Player as a senior after helping CHS to state championship,

Personal: Born Heather Nicole Zumo in Baton Rouge … One of Mike and Lisa Zumo’s three daughters … Has two sisters, Hannah and Heidi … Majoring in kinesiology.
