Sherry Kennemer returned to Southeastern Athletics in July of 2014. She currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services and the department's Senior Women Administrator.
Prior to returning to Hammond, Kennemer spent four years at the University of South Alabama. During her time in Mobile, she served as the Director of Athletics Compliance, Director of Academic Services, SWA, Title IX Coordinator and APR Coordinator.
Kennemer went to USA after spending three years at Southeastern. In her initial stint, Kennemer was the Associate AD for Compliance/Student Services, serving as the SWA for her final two years in Hammond.
Kennemer began her collegiate career at North Alabama, where she played on the UNA tennis team. Following her playing career, she served as the head women's tennis coach for five years and the head cross country coach for four seasons. Kennemer eventually moved into administration, serving as Associate Director of Athletics, Compliance Coordinator and SWA during her time in Florence.
Kennemer earned her bachelor's degree in physical education from North Alabama in 1990 and completed her master's degree in 1992.
