Competed in two meets for the Lions during the season, competing in the long jump in both meets and the triple jump in one... Both season bests came at the SLC Outdoor Championships, covering a distance of 6.79 meters (22'3.5") in the long jump & 13.55 meters (44'5.5") in the triple jump... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Junior Season (2024):
Made debut for Southeastern at the LSU Purple Tiger indoor meet, running his only 60-meter sprint of the season, finishing in 7.48 seconds... Earned points in the triple jump at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships with a seventh-place finish... Set two season bests at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, throwing 11.19 meters (36'8.5") in the shot put & 30.87 meters (101'3") in the javelin... Set four season bests on the home track at the Strawberry Relays, two each on the track & in the field... Ran 11.50 seconds in the 100-meter dash, ran 23.18 seconds in the 200-meter dash, threw 33.20 meters (108'11") in the discus throw, & cleared 3.80 meters (12'5.5") in the pole vault... Set three more season bests at the SLC Outdoor Championships - ran the 400-meter hurdles in 58.45 seconds, had his longest long jump at 7.10 meters (23'3.5"), & longest triple jump at 14.76 meters (48'5.25")... Scored points for the Lions in the triple jump at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a sixth-place finish... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.
Prior to Southeastern:
Transferred to Southeastern from Prairie View A&M University... Won the silver medal in the decathlon at the 2023 Southwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships... Won the bronze medal in the triple jump at the 2023 SWAC Outdoor Championships... Earned points for the Panthers in the pole vault & triple jump at the 2023 SWAC Indoor Championships... Prepped at State College Area High School in Pennsylvania... Was on the track & field team for the Lions... Earned indoor state championship in triple jump... Named All-American in the pentathlon at the New Balance Indoor Nationals... Won triple jump championship at National Youth Championship... Named All-American in decathlon at National Youth Championship... Member of Caring in Action Community Service Project, Little Lion Ambassador, & Mock Trial Club.

Born August 5, 2001 in Wilkes Barre, Penn.... Son of Harry Hamilton & Sherri Washington... Brother is fellow SLU track & field teammate Lance Hamilton... Father, Harry, played football at Penn State, where he won a national championship, & had a seven-year NFL career with the New York Jets & Tampa Bay Buccaneers... Hobbies include community service & engagement, watching movies & TV, & listening to or playing music... Working on his master's in counseling at SLU.
