2023 Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll

2023:
Made her Southeastern debut at the LSU Purple Tiger meet where she ran her only 600-meter run of the season, finishing in 1:44.77 while also running a 200-meter dash race... Her only 60-meter sprint of the season came at the LSU Twilight meet where she finished in 8.29 seconds... Had her fastest 200-meter dash time of the season at the Strawberry Relays, crossing the line in 25.76 seconds... Her fastest 400-meter dash time came at the LSU Alumni Gold meet, stopping the clock in 58.83 seconds... Ran in three 4x400-meter relays on the season, including a fourth-place finish in the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships... Her only experience in field events on the year came at the McNeese State Indoor #2 meet, going  4.85 meters (15'11") in the long jump and throwing 7.58 meters (24'10.5") in the shot put... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

Prior to Southeastern:
Transferred to Southeastern from the University of Mount Olive... Prepped at Xavier College in her native Australia... Ran track & field for the Gawler Little Athletics Club & Northern Districts Athletics Club... Competed at the Australian National Competition where she ended up in a 100-meter dash heat with the holder of the Australian record in the discipline.

Personal:
Born May 8, 2000 in Adelaide, South Australia... Married to Hunter Yarbrough... Daughter of Dennis & Julie Thring... Had a twin brother, Bradley, who unfortunately passed away in June 2022... Enjoys listening to music, hiking, camping, & being with friends... Biggest sports thrill is the "runner's high" after a good race or being involved in a relay and having the team cheering her on... Is pursuing a Master's in health & kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science at SLU.
