2008 Outdoor (Freshman):  Finished sixth in his debut decathlon performance at the SLC Outdoor Championships with 5,679 points, winning the 400 m dash, finished second in the 1500 m run and came in fourth in the 100 m dash and long jump.

2008 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in the 60 m and 200 m during the indoor season ... Clocked a 60 m time of 7.31 at the Purple Tiger Invitational ... Timed in at 23.66 in the 200 m and 7.27 in the 60 m at the Bayou Bengal Invitational ... Was 34th in the 200 m dash at the SLC Indoor Championships with a time of 24.16.

Prior to Southeastern -

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in track and three in football at Lamar High School ... A starting corner back, he helped Lamar to a Texas state 4-A semi-finalist appearnce in his senior year ... Clocked a personal high school best of 39.4 in the 300 m.
