2015-16: Finished with a 74.14 stroke average over 29 rounds in being named third-team All-Southland Conference for the second time  … Had one top-10 and five top-20 finishes on the season … Led the team in birdies (90), first round average (73.10), par 5 scoring (4.6542) and subpar strokes per round (3.24) … His par 5 scoring ranks second all-time by a Lion … Climbed 10 spots in the final round of the Southland Conference Championships with a 1-over 73, tying for 18^th with five others at 10-over 226 … Earned honorable mention Southland Conference Golfer of the Month for April… Was the top finisher for the Lions at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship, tying for 12^th with a 3-over 219… Tied for the fourth-best score of the final round, a 2-under 70… Tied for seventh at 3-over 147 at the LSU Tiger Classic… Led after the first round with the low round of the tournament, a 3-under 69… Finished in a tie for 44th at 14-over 230 at the UTSA Lone Star Intercollegiate… Was tied for third after opening with rounds of 71 and 72 before finishing tied for 22^nd with a 5-over 221 at the Auburn Tiger Invitational … Finished in a three-way tie for 20th at 8-over 221 at the UTSA/Oak Hills Intercollegiate after opening with rounds of 73 and 72 ... Opened with a 1-under 71 ...  Played nine rounds in the fall, recording a 73.56 stroke average … Tied for 12th to lead Lions at the David Toms Intercollegiate in the Fall finale, shooting a 6-over 222 (74-75-73) … Opened the Windon Memorial with a pair of 1-under 70s in tying for 24th at 2-over 215 (70-70-75) … Had a 12-over 225 (77-70-78) in tying for 63rd at Sam Hall Intercollegiate.

2014-15: Had a 74.9 stroke average over 32 rounds … Came in 22^nd at the NCAA Lubbock Regional, shooting a second-round 68 in finishing at even-par 213 … Tied for 39^th at Southland Conference Championships at 27-over 243 (83-80-80) … Tied for 13^th at the Golfweek Conference Challenge with a 221 (74-74-73) in September … Also was 25^th at the Louisiana Classics in March with a 221 (72-74-75) … Low round was a 71 in the opening round of the Lone Star Invitational, as the Lions set a tournament record with a 272 (-18) over the first 18 holes.

2013-14: Third team All-Southland Conference selection in his first collegiate season … Recorded a 74.72 stroke average over 25 rounds … Top finish was a 14^th-place showing at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate, where he carded a 223 (77-73-73) … Also finished in the top 20 at the Southland Conference Championships (15^th) and the David Toms Intercollegiate (19^th).

Prior to Southeastern: Ranked 853 in the European Golf Rankings … Posted a 73.33 stroke average in three tournaments.

Personal: Born in Gotha, Germany … Parents are Egon and Andrea Obermann … Has a sister, Ines … a business administration major … Was one of three senior student-athletes to be honored for having the highest GPA in the Southeastern athletic department among graduating seniors.
