2016 Cross Country: Competed in six meets with one victory, two top-20s and four top-25s … Came in 70^th at the Southland Conference Championships in a personal-best 27:05.7 … Was 42^nd overall in 28:55.84 at the 8K Choctaw Open … Finished 21^st overall in 17:07.1 at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede … Ran a team-best 16:28.61 for a 22^nd-place finish at the 5K LSU Invitational, guiding the Lions to a fourth-place finish … Led the Lions’ squad with an 18^th-place finish at the Azalea City Classic, completing the 8K run in 27:23.62 … Earned Southland Athlete of the Week honors after helping Lions capture the men’s team title at the season-opening New Orleans Invitational … Competing in his first collegiate meet, he ran the fastest individual 4K time for the Lions at 13:06.1 seconds … Only current Lion track team member Harry Wiggins, running unattached, had a faster individual time (12:57.2) … Teamed with sophomore Brett Olivier for the fastest time at 26:32 in the two-man 8K relay.
