In its fourth year, this event will commemorate those in the Hall of Fame, past and present. We ask you to join us as we honor our newest Hall of Fame members at the Southeastern Louisiana University Hall of Fame Banquet presented by North Oaks Health on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:30 in the evening. We will also recognize any Hall of Fame members/family representatives in attendance at halftime of the football game on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Strawberry Stadium.
The banquet will be held in the Student Union Ballroom on Southeastern’s campus, beginning with a cocktail/social hour at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. with the recognition of Hall of Fame members, family representatives of our deceased members, the recognition of the 1976 Lion Football team as well as the introduction of the six newest members of the Hall of Fame: Lacey Bockhaus (soccer), Don Griffin (football), Cedric Patton (football), Kevin Hughes (football), Simona Nedorostova (tennis), Chris Province (baseball), Gus Malespin (baseball).
The Hall of Fame Banquet will require cocktail attire and features a sit-down dinner. Tickets must be purchased to attend. The ticket information is detailed below:
- $75.00 General Admission (arranged seating)
- $750.00 Reserved Table for 8, assuring your party sits together
- $1,500 Sponsor Table (8) that includes primary event seating, program and presentation recognition, as well as additional table gifts
In 2023, when Southeastern Athletics began this tradition, we presented all former members with a Hall of Fame golden jacket. If you are a Hall of Fame member with a golden jacket, we invite you to wear it for the event, as you are featured in the Walk of Champions. If you are a former Hall of Fame member who has not attended and plan to attend this year, please inform the LAA that you are a HOF member at the time of registration. The LAA will then reach out to collect your jacket size once members purchase their tickets. Jackets will be available for pick-up at the banquet.
