2018 Outdoor: Named Southland Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week after breaking a 20-year-old UL-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns Track/Soccer Complex record with a winning vault of 18-1.75 at the Louisiana Classics … Tied the school record and eclipsed the Southeastern Track Complex standard with a vault of 18-8.25 at the Tulane Early Bird Twilight.
 
2017 Outdoor: Named to the LSWA All-Louisiana Team for the third straight year after recording the top pole vault in the state … Became the third four-time All-American in school history, joining Alex Young and Donald Dykes, after earning second-team honors from the USTFCCCA … Took 10th in the pole vault at the NCAA Division I Championships after clearing 17-04.5 … Advanced to the NCAA Division I National Championships for the second straight year in the pole vault with a third-place finish at 17 feet, 6.5 inches at the East Preliminaries … Voted first-team All-Southland Conference for the second straight outdoor season after capturing the conference championship with a pole vault of 17-09.25 ... Became the first Lion to repeat as a conference champion since Derek Hampton won three straight javelin titles from 2013-15 … Joined Hampton, Alex Young, Chris Carter,  Kalphys Kemboi, Jeffrey Milliron and Corey Roberts as the only Lions to win at least two conference outdoor titles in the same event … Named Southland Conference’s Men’s Athlete of the Week for the seventh time after tying a season best in winning with a mark of 18 feet, 4.5 inches at the South Alabama Invitational … That height ties the second-best mark in school history … Also cleared that height in taking at the Texas Relays after clearing 18-04.5 ... Opened his season with a first-place vault of 18-2.5 at the Hurricane Collegiate.

2017 Indoor: Named second-team All-America in the pole vault by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, becoming the second three-time NCAA Division I All-American in Lion track history … Finished ninth at the NCAA Division I Indoor National Championships with a vault of 17-10.5 … Named first-team All-Southland Conference after winning the vault with a school indoor record of 18-1 at the conference championships … Just missed at 18-05.25, which would have broken the conference record of 18-04.75 set by Oral Roberts’ Jack Whitt in 2013 … Was his sixth victory of the season … Was selected the Southland’s Male Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week and the sixth time in his career after tying his then-school indoor record with a vault of 17-11.25 at the LSU Twilight … Also received league Field Athlete of the Week honors after setting the meet record at the Samford Open with a winning vault of 17-6.5 … Captured the title at the LSU Bayou Bengal at 17-10.5 … Took first at 16-10.75 at the McNeese Invite #1 … Opened the season with a first-place vault of 17-1.75 at the LSU Purple Tiger.

2016 Outdoor: One of the top pole vaulters in the country… Finished the season with the top vault in the country, a school-record 18-8.25… Became the eighth two-time All-American in Southeastern track history after being named to the first team following a third-place finish in the pole vault (17-10.5) at the National Championships… Was also named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s All-Louisiana Male Field Athlete of the Year … Qualified for the NCAAs with a ninth-place finish (17-4.5) at the NCAA East Preliminaries… Earned first-team All-Southland Conference honors for the second straight season… Captured the Southland Conference title in the with a stadium-record vault of 17-08.5… Took his fourth victory of the outdoor season and earned Southland Field Athlete of the Week award after clearing 18-01.75 at the LSU Alumni Gold... Broke the meet and facility records with a winning mark of 17-10.5 at the Lion Invitational… Old record was 17-00.25 by Southeastern’s Kovey Simmons in 2013… Named the USTFCCCA Division I Men’s National Athlete of the Week after breaking the Lions’ outdoor and overall vault record by clearing a winning 18-8.25 at the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays… Also was named the Southland Field Athlete of the Week… The mark was the top vault in the country and qualified King for the USATF Olympic Trials… The vault broke King’s record of 18-01 set at the season-opening Tulane Twilight Invitational… The vault at Tulane eclipsed the outdoor record of 17-07 set by King at the 2015 LSU Alumni Gold.
 
2016 Indoor: Named first-team All-America after tying for third in the pole vault with a mark of 17-06.25 at the NCAA Division I Championships… Broke the school pole vault record four times and was twice named the Southland Field Athlete of the Week… Named first-team All-Southland Conference after breaking his own record by two inches in winning the Southland Championship at 17-11.25… Vault is seventh in the country and No. 1 in the Southland to date… Was the SLC Field Athlete of the Week with a record-setting winning vault of 17-9.25 at the South Alabama Jaguar Invitational... Placed second at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver… Received first SLC Field Athlete of the Week honors after setting the school record at 17-9 in winning at the LSU Bayou Bengal… Took down the record after clearing 17-05.5 in placing first at the season-opening LSU Purple Tiger. The mark bettered Kovey Simmons’ 17-03.87 set at the 2012 NCAA Qualifier.
 
2015 Outdoor: Named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s Freshman of the Year after finishing the regular season with three straight wins in the pole vault … Set a season best with a mark of 17-7 in winning at the LSU Alumni Gold Meet … Also won at the LSU Battle on the Bayou (17-0.75) and J Fred Duckett-Rice Twilight (17-1.5) … Was second (17-0.75) at the Alabama Relays and third (15-9) at the Jaguar Opener … Placed 18th (16-4.75) at the NCAA East Preliminaries.
 
2015 Indoor: Opened collegiate career with a pair of wins at the LSU Invitational (17-1) and UAB Vulcan Invite (16-4.75) … Was second (16-4.75) at the McNeese State Invitational.
 
Outside Southeastern: Captured the pole vault at the IX NACAC U23 Championships in July 2016 ... Tied for 17th at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials … Tied a personal best with a vault of 18-8.25 in taking fourth at the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championships.
