2015 Cross Country: Joined Salem Morelli to come in a team-best fourth in 22:57.8 at the UNO Relays… Was 14^th individually in 11:57.4… Finished 31^st (17:58.4) at the LSU Invitational.
 
2015 Outdoor: Set a career-best in the 5,000 in finishing 10^th in 17:32.34 at the LSU Battle on the Bayou… Was 27^th (9:55.82) in the 3,000 and 37^th (4:37.72) in the 1,500 at the McNeese Cowboy Relays.
 
2015 Indoor: Placed 14^th (9:51.60) at the McNeese Invite.
 
2014 Cross Country: Opened his season with a sixth-place finish in 15:56.6 at the 5K Loyola Wolf Pack Invite… Took 46^th (18:57.0) at 5K LSU Invitational… Was 17^th (29:02.2) at the Mississippi College Watson Ford Meet… Came in 80^th (28:08.0) at the Southland Championships.
 
2014 Outdoor: Set a personal-best 10:29.31 in the 3,000 steeplechase in coming in 15^th at the Southland Championships… Was 14^th (10:39.97) in the 3,000 steeplechase at the J. Fred Duckett-Rice Twilight… Placed second in the men’s 3000 Meter Steeplechase (10:35.52) at the Tulane Team Challenge… Came in 11^th in a personal-best 4:17.21 in the 1,500 at the Southeastern Lion Invitational… Finished 11^th in a personal-best 9:34.32 in the 3,000 at the Jaguar Opener.
 
2013 Cross Country:  Finished 30th at the Azalea City Cross Country Classic with a time of 27:11.23... Posted a time of 22:23.20 to finish 47^th at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede... Earned 17th place at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open (28:06.98)...Finished 67th (28:46.1) at the 2013 Southland Conference Cross Country Championship.
 
Personal: Son of Leon Chavez and Candida Moreno… Has four brothers, Freddie, Adrian, Andres, and Luis… Was born in Matamoros, Mexico… Majoring in criminal justice.
 
High School: Earned four letters in track at Sumner… Earned back-to-back 3A State Championships…Captained both track and CC teams.
