2015: Third team All-Southland Conference choice started all 48 games she appeared in at designated player … Third straight All-Southland selection … Broke her own single-season school record with a league-high 43 walks – 11^th-most in NCAA Division I … Also had seven home runs, 31 RBI, six doubles and a .286 batting average … Second on the team and fourth in the conference with a .491 on-base percentage … Finished the season as the school’s career leader with 109 walks … Was 3-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored in a 16-7 victory over Abilene Christian … Homered and drove in a season-high four runs in a 12-2 win over Lamar … Had three walks in five games … Also hit home runs versus Arkansas, Abilene Christian, Stephen F. Austin and Central Arkansas. 

2014: Named to the All-Southland Conference team for the second straight season after starting every game, primarily at designated player … Set a then-single-season school record with 35 walks, ranking third in the Southland in that category … Tied a single-season school record after being hit by 13 pitches … Also was fifth in the Southland with a .475 on-base percentage … Finished sophomore campaign with six home runs, 24 RBI and 20 runs scored … Hit a walk-off two-run home run in win over Ole Miss … Was 3-for-3 with a home run, double, three runs scored and three RBI in league victory over Incarnate Word … Drove in four runs in 12-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff … Homered and drove in three runs in 10-0 win over Eastern Illinois … Also homered versus Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin and Northwestern State … Drew three walks at Jackson State … Had nine games with multiple walks.

2013: Split time between designated player and first base, starting 50 of 52 games … Earned All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana honors after posting .298 batting average, 11 home runs, 41 runs batted in and 31 walks … Finished among the Southland leaders in slugging percentage (.582, 9^th), on-base percentage (.442, 7^th), RBI (8^th), home runs (4^th), walks (2^nd) and hit by pitch (7, 13^th) … Hit a grand slam in 7-2 win over South Dakota … Homered and drove in four runs in wins over Houston Baptist and McNeese State … Also homered versus UMBC, South Dakota State, Jackson State, Nicholls State, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State … Fourth player in school history to hit double-digit home runs … Walk total was three off the single-season school record.
 
High School : Two-time District 8-3A MVP at Kennedale High School … Posted 19 home runs and 83 runs batted in over her final two high school seasons … Set school record with 13 home runs as a junior … Won the state power lifting title as a senior, setting an all-time state record for her weight class … Also played basketball and threw the shot put and discus for the KHS track team … Most recent club experience came with the Ft. Worth Batbusters team.
 
Personal: Born Amber Joyce Sather in Arlington, Texas … Daughter of Jerry and Lana Sather …. Has two brothers, Jeremy and Allan … Father (football, Howard Payne) and brother Jeremy (baseball, Eastern New Mexico) were also college athletes.
