HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics will participate in the university's Giving Day, while the football, soccer, indoor volleyball, golf and tennis teams will all be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
Southeastern Giving Day is set for Wednesday. Visit

Fresh off its first win of the season, the SLU football team (1-2, 0-1 SLC) will close out its nonconference slate this week. The Lions will travel to ULM for a 3:30 p.m. contest with the Warhawks Saturday.
The Southeastern soccer team (4-3-1) will open its Southland Conference schedule Thursday, hosting McNeese at 7 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium. Thursday will be Scarf Night, as fans will receive a Southeastern soccer scarf while available.
The Lion indoor volleyball team (3-6) will end its pre-conference slate this week, starting with a 6:30 p.m. home contest versus UL Lafayette Tuesday in the University Center. Tuesday's match features the Dig the Lions promotion, as the first 100 Southeastern students will receive a free t-shirt and food.
Southeastern will then head to Las Vegas to compete in the Rebel Challenge. The Lions will open the tournament Friday, facing UC Irvine at 4 p.m. and host UNLV at 8 p.m., before taking on UC San Diego Saturday at 1 p.m.
The SLU golf team will open its 2026-27 schedule this week. The Lions head to Jackson, Tenn. to compete in the Grover Page Classic Monday and Tuesday.
The Southeastern tennis team will open the fall portion of its 2026-27 slate this week. SLU will be in New Orleans Friday and Saturday to compete in the Dillard Invitational.
On the Air
This week's football and soccer games, as well as Tuesday's volleyball match, will be televised on ESPN+, while Friday's volleyball match at UNLV can be seen on Mountain West+. Saturday's football game will air on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM, The Boss 103.7 FM/WFPR 1400 AM).
The same affiliates will air this week's episode of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo, which airs Monday at 7 p.m. at Brady's in downtown Hammond. Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the show will cover all things Lion Football and, following the debut episode, will air weekly Mondays at 7 p.m.
