HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team will officially open the 2026 season, the SLU indoor volleyball team will host its first exhibition while the Football Season Ticket Pickup Party is set for this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southeastern soccer team opens the season at home, hosting UL Lafayette at 7 p.m. Thursday in Strawberry Stadium. The Lions will then open the road portion of its schedule Sunday with a 5 p.m. game at Louisiana Tech.
 
The SLU indoor volleyball team will offer fans a sneak peek of the 2026 Southeastern season Thursday. Southeastern welcomes Xavier (N.O.) for a 6:30 p.m. exhibition in the University Center.
 
Lion football season ticket holders will be able to pick up their season tickets for the 2026 season in conjunction with Saturday's 9 a.m. practice at Strawberry Stadium. Refreshments and drinks will be available and fans will have a chance to spin the wheel of prizes.
 
On the Air
Both of this week's soccer games will be televised on ESPN+.
