SLU Places 14 Among 2025-26 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

Southeastern standouts Blanchard, Detillier, Dixon, Ford, LaRue, Lott, Magee, Mourris, Oubre, Puckett, Schneider, Burns, Chernich and Pantalion recognized for academic excellence

HAMMOND, La. – The reigning Southland Conference regular season champion Southeastern Louisiana University softball team placed 14 student-athletes among the over 2,600 2025-26 Division I Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes announced by the NFCA Wednesday.
 
To be eligible for inclusion, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the 2025-26 academic year. Southeastern was also recognized for its team performance, as the Lions posted a 3.5 GPA as a team in 2025-26.
 
SLC Student-Athlete of the Year Hallie Burns was one of five SLU student-athletes who added Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors to Southland All-Academic accolades, along with Maria Detillier, Chloe Magee, Shelby Morris and Cydnee Schneider.
 
Other Southeastern honorees on Wednesday's list included Cera Blanchard, Nadia Chernich, Kailey Dixon, Brilee Ford, Macie LaRue, Katie Lott, Tyler Oubre, Breezy Pantalion and Veronica Puckett.
 
Southeastern will open its eight-game fall exhibition schedule Oct. 2, hosting Pearl River Community College at North Oak Park.
