The reigning SLC regular season champion SLU baseball team (30-19, 18-9 SLC) currently is alone atop the conference standings and in the driver's seat for its second straight Southland Conference championship heading into this weekend's final series versus Nicholls at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The series opens at 6 p.m. Thursday, continues Friday at 6 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 2 p.m.

The top two teams in the Southland Conference standings will host bracket play May 14-17 with the highest seed of the two bracket winners hosting the SLC Championship series May 21-23.
