HAMMOND, La. – Heavy rain in the Hammond area has forced the postponement of the winner's bracket game of the Southland Conference Championship Hammond Bracket presented by North Oaks Health between Southeastern and Lamar.
 
The two teams will meet Saturday at 11 a.m. The loser of the game between the Lions and the Cardinals will face UIW at 2 p.m. in an elimination game. The bracket wraps up Sunday at 1 p.m. with the if necessary game set for 4 p.m. 
 
All games will be available on ESPN+.

Game 1 – No. 5 Lamar 7, No. 4 UIW 5

Game 3 – UIW 9, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 0 (6 Innings) (Elimination game)

Saturday, May 2
Game 4 – Southeastern vs. Lamar, 11 a.m.
Game 5 – UIW vs. Game 4 Loser, 2 p.m. (Elimination Game)
 
Sunday, May 3
Game 6 – Game 4 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner, 1 p.m.
Game 7 – Game 4 Winner, vs. Game 5 Winner, 4 p.m.
Game 7 is only necessary if Game 5 winner also wins Game 6
