HAMMOND, La. – Due to expected inclement weather in the Hammond area this week, game times for the Hammond Bracket of the 2026 Southland Conference Softball Championships at North Oak Park have been altered.
 
Game times for Thursday through Saturday have been moved to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday's if necessary game remains at 1 p.m.
 
2026 Southland regular season champion, two-time reigning SLC Tournament champion and No. 1 seed Southeastern will open bracket play Thursday, hosting eighth-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 2 p.m. Thursday's action opens with No. 4 seed UIW and fifth-seeded Lamar at 11 a.m.
 
All SLC Softball Championship games will be televised on ESPN+

Game 1 – No. 4 UIW vs. No. 5 Lamar, 11 a.m.
Game 2 – No. 1 Southeastern vs. No. 8 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 2 p.m.
 
Friday, May 1
Game 3 – Game 1 Loser vs. Game 2 Loser, 11 a.m. (Elimination game)
Game 4 – Game 1 Winner vs. Game 2 Winner, 2 p.m.
 
Saturday, May 2
Game 5 – Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Loser, 11 a.m. (Elimination Game)
Game 6 – Game 4 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner, 2 p.m.
 
Sunday, May 3
Game 7 – Game 4 Winner, vs. Game 5 Winner, 1 p.m.
Game 7 is only necessary if Game 5 winner also wins Game 6
